One of the greatest challenges churches face is raising up faithful followers of Christ from one generation to the next. Much of the church today is facing further challenges as church attendance dwindles and biblical illiteracy rises. We created the Discipleship Training Program (DTP) to help local churches face these challenges by giving them the tools to raise up faithful disciples of Jesus.

The DTP consists of ten dynamic, biblically-based courses designed to furnish students with a foundation in sound doctrine and practical ministry training. With courses ranging from How to Study the Bible  to Spiritual Warfare, students of this program will walk away better equipped to live faithful and fruitful lives for Christ.​

This program is highly flexible and can be implemented in a local church context as a school of ministry, discipleship program, Sunday school curriculum, new believer's program, or bible study. The ten courses are structured into four sections that can be taught weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or whenever your church schedule permits.​

While the DTP was created with local churches in mind, individuals can go through the DTP online at their own pace through VCBCS.

Upon completion of the program, whether at a local church or online with VCBCS, students are eligible to receive a Certificate in Christian Ministry. Students also have the option to receive credit towards a degree in Vision Christian Bible College & Seminary upon completion of the program.​​​​​​
