CHAPLAINCY
CERTIFICATE

Chaplaincy is of utmost importance in our tumultuous times, but the call for chaplains originated in the fourth century when Saint Martin took his sword and cut his cloak in two to clothe a freezing beggar. Martin’s cloak was treasured and kept in a cappella (Chapel) and looked after by the cappellano, the Chaplain. To this day, chaplains are the “keepers of sacred things”, maintaining a focus and devotion to Christ outside the walls of the church in some of the most difficult circumstances. We invite you to join in this sacred calling to advance the Kingdom and reach the world through the role of chaplain.
Through our program, we are dedicated to forming and shaping individuals who are thoroughly equipped to be “the keepers of sacred things” in service to their communities.
